Editorial mission
We write for Bay Area buyers and sellers who want signal, not sales copy. Every issue surfaces aggregate (non-identifying) off-market activity, seven-city quarterly market data, a few long-reads worth your time, and founder-curated market-analysis videos. Our editorial test is whether a reader can act on this — not whether it might generate a transaction.
Editorial standards
Every issue is reviewed and approved jointly by Marie and Kevin before sending. No unreviewed content goes out.
All figures (price, listing counts, year-over-year change) come from MLS, public records, or our own off-market aggregator; sources are linked when possible.
Off-market activity is reported as city-level aggregates only (pace, price ranges) — never individual addresses, sellers, or buyers.
We do not currently accept paid content, sponsored placements, or affiliate promotion.
Founder video and article picks reflect editorial judgement, not promotional partnerships.
Editors
MK Group is edited by both founders; both are directly involved in topic selection, drafting, and approval for every issue. Each founder also maintains their own primary profile on the main site, linked below.
Marie Wang is co-founder of MK Group, focused on seller strategy and pricing for Bay Area luxury homes. 8+ years in Bay Area luxury real estate, served 200+ high-net-worth families across Palo Alto, Atherton, Hillsborough, Menlo Park, Los Altos, and Cupertino. Kevin Mo is co-founder of MK Group, leading market research and content strategy. Master's in Philosophy, with 10+ years of Bay Area market research. His YouTube channel @KevinMoRE has 24K+ subscribers and 300+ original market-analysis episodes, known for data-driven market breakdowns. Kevin drafts the weekly market reports and city-level data interpretations, which are then reviewed and approved jointly with Marie.

Corrections policy
If you spot a data or factual error in any issue, please email kevin.mo@mkregroup.info with the issue date and the correction. We publish corrections in the following weekly issue (or sooner if material), and add a correction note at the bottom of the affected issue's web archive page documenting what changed and when.
